Come with friends or come alone and make new friends. Our instructor will lead you step-by-step in creating the featured painting of the night. You will be amazed as to what you can do! Events run for around 2 hours and there is plenty of time to socialise and have a few drinks while you paint.
Can I leave my canvas and pickup later
You can leave your artwork behind we just ask that you collect within 30 days. Canvasses not collected within 60 days will be recycled or donated. Canvasses can be collected anytime we’re open, no appointment is needed. Please check the website for schedule.
How do I pay with a voucher?
To use a gift voucher please select the number of seats using the ‘Voucher Payment’ option and then follow the steps below. If your voucher is for less than the booking total click here to add the additional payment to your cart.
- Click ‘Add to Cart’
- Click ‘Proceed to checkout’ – Do not enter anything in the coupon code field
- Enter the voucher number, expiry date (if applicable), and the full voucher amount. (Enter the same information for each ticket.)
- Click ‘Save Attendee info’
- Click through to complete the booking
Please note when viewing your voucher from your email link it may say ‘Voucher does not exist’. Please disregard this message, we have changed accounts but your voucher is still valid and will work on our website using the instructions above.
Are spectators welcome?
Spectators are welcome in the bar area however due to limited space only those who have purchased a ticket are allocated a seat in the painting area.
Can I BYO?
BYO is not allowed. We sell beer, wine and cider at very reasonable prices. We can also provide mixed drinks for private functions, contact us for more information.
Is parking available?
There is free street parking available after 6pm all along Pirie Street or there is a parking garage directly above us, enter via Flinders St. Exit via the Pirie St door and turn right, we’re just a few doors down.
Are children or babies allowed?
Unless otherwise noted, our evening events are for ages 17 and above. Ages 14 and above are welcome at our daytime events with a paying parent/guardian.
We also kindly ask that babies are not brought to any of our events. A caregiver is welcome to bring a breastfed baby in for a feed during the however we ask that they don’t remain after feeding is finished.
What is included in the cost?
The cost of the class includes a 40x50cm canvas (unless otherwise specified), all your painting materials, apron and instruction by an experienced instructor. No food or drink is included unless otherwise specified in the event description.
Do I need to book in advance?
Yes please. Due to limited seating, booking and advance payment is required. If we have spare seats on the day of an event we will post on facebook and walk-ins will be allowed.
How many people are at each event?
We require at least 10 people to hold an event and the most we can seat is 38.
What is the cancellation policy?
Sales are final, no refunds, however if you are unable to make it you can transfer your ticket to someone else or reschedule for another event. Seven days notice must be given via email if you wish to reschedule without penalty.
Bookings of three or less people
7 days notice: reschedule without penalty (one time)
24 hours notice – Sold out event: 25% credit, not sold out: 50% credit
2 hours notice – Sold out: no credit, not sold out: 25% credit
Bookings for more than three people:
7 days notice: reschedule without penalty (one time)
Less than 7 days: no credit given
No refunds. No credit for no shows. All requests must be made via email from the person who made the booking.

In the interest of public health, if we need to cancel or reschedule events all attendees will have the option to attend the rescheduled session or receive a full credit which will be valid for one year.
Please contact us asap to reschedule if any of the following apply:
- you have been in NSW or overseas in the past 14 days
- anyone in your household has been in NSW or overseas in the past 14 days
- anyone you have been in close contact with has been in NSW or overseas in the past 14 days
- you or a close contact are showing any symptoms of the virus
- you or a close contact have been in proximity of a known case
Effective March 19, 2020 until further notice the following policy applies:
- If you cancel with a minimum of 48 hours notice – full credit valid for six months
- If you cancel with a minimum of 2 hours notice – 50% credit valid for six months
- If you cancel with less than 2 hours notice or are a no-show, no credit will be given
Please note we can not offer refunds under any circumstances.
What if I don’t know how to paint?
If you can hold a paintbrush you’ll be fine. Most people are a lot more creative than they think. Have a glass of wine and let our artists guide you through the completion of your masterpiece. All of our projects are fun and light hearted; just relax and have fun.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the class start time. After you check-in you’re welcome to grab a drink and mingle with the other participants or find a seat until the painting begins!
What should I wear?
Wear whatever you would normally for a casual night out with friends. We will provide you with a black apron to help protect your clothing. (Acrylic paint is water soluble but can be hard to remove from some fabrics.)
